Back for the first time, in a long time

Hey there everyone, I haven't been on here in quite a long time and I'm actually surprised my account was never deleted from the servers. Due to some complications I have been unable to log on to this site for many years, and I would first and foremost like to offer my most sincere apologies to those who I got to know incredibly well and suddenly abandoned. I feel horrible about it, and I most certainly hope I can earn their forgiveness somehow. As for why I disappeared from the face of this site, that's a bit too personal to reveal right now.

As for any people reading this who don't know me, I'd like to introduce myself. I have an avid interest in writing, with my ultimate goal to become an author in the vein of Laurell K Hamilton, Jim Butcher, and R.A. Salvatore. I have great faith in my writing ability, though it has caused my ability as a DM to suffer to quite some degree. I much prefer to play characters, than to run games, suffice to say. Once I find a stable job and get into the pattern of whatever hours I have to work, I intend to start writing a dedicated novel which will hopefully become a full fledged series. I'll be posting it online for free, so look forward to that.

Aside from that all of that, I'm also a huge fan attending various conventions. My choices of conventions has pretty much been limited to Sakura-con and Penny Arcade Expo as both are located very close to where I live, though I feel lucky to be able to attend both so easily. Once I can maintain a steady job I actually intend to begin cosplaying annually for both, and with costumes already chosen for me I expect to start doing this next year. (For those wondering, I have been drafted for the part of Tarrlok from The Legend of Korra for Sakura-con and Jax from League of Legends for PAX.)
